St. John's is located in
beautiful, scenic, historic downtown Brooksville and is
the northern most parish in the
Diocese
of Southwest Florida, which extends
south to Naples, Florida. Locally, the
parish is engaged in compassion ministries with
neighbors who are homeless, hungry, abused and
neglected.
We also provide educational
resource support for a nearby school serving some of the
poorest in the county. We are working with other
Hernando County churches and ministries to better
coordinate all of our efforts and resources to make the
most impact. Internally, we are building up ministries
of spiritual formation for all ages. We
have evening adult education classes, acolytes, scripture reading,
ushering, greeting, Altar Guild,
choir, weekly Bible study, and abundant
volunteer opportunities. |

Sunday Holy Eucharist is
celebrated at 10:00 am with The Rev. Ken Taber
officiating. Our Vestry is lively, positive, and fully
engaged to both lead and to serve. Come and join us. God
has a purpose in mind for St. John's and for you. See
Father Ken's message on the staff page.
We
are a small and growing parish in the northern-most
outpost of the Episcopal Diocese of Southwest Florida. We attempt
to make people feel that they are truly part of the
larger Body of Christ and the global Anglican communion by offering activities and
programs that one might not expect from a parish of our
size and location.

worship with us and see what St. John’s has to offer.
If
you have any concerns or questions about our parish or
services, please don’t hesitate to call the Church
